Francesca ArosioBiologist and Nutritionist

Francesca Arosio, Nutritionist biologist, graduated from the University of Milan in Food and Human Nutrition, after graduating in Food Sciences and Technologies.

As a great lover of sport, I started and continued my career following high-level athletes of different sports, especially football and athletics, studying how nutrition could prevent injuries, support physical activity and increase performance.

At my private studies I also deal with dietary counseling for the healthy person or with pathological conditions ascertained, at all stages of life, from childhood to adulthood.

Currently I collaborate with Dr. Salvatore Artale director of the Oncology Operations Unit of the Vimercate Hospital of ASST Brianza where, once again, the world of nutrition has not stopped surprising me.
Thanks to Dr. Artale and in collaboration with Dr Azzarello and Dr Basciani, I am part of a research project that aims to create nutritional plans in order to modulate the expression of the microbiota, that is, the set of microorganisms that inhabit our intestines and live in symbiosis with the human organism, with the aim of preventing and limiting side effects due to chemotherapy treatments. The patient can thus achieve an improvement in the quality of life and psycho-physical conditions.

Within the Association I will contribute to the creation of recipes and simple nutritional advice that can provide help to cancer patients.
